What Is Voidling Bound?

A sci-fi monster-taming third-person shooter

Voidling Bound is developed by Hatchery Games, a Canadian indie studio founded by ex-Skylanders developers from Beenox. You play as a Space Wrangler using neural-link technology to directly control alien creatures called Voidlings in a third-person action game — not turn-based.

It launched June 9, 2026 on Steam (PC) at $24.99, with console versions (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2) planned for later. A free demo is available on Steam.

Confirmed features (from Steam store page and developer interviews):

💡 Try the Free Demo First

A free Steam demo is available with 2 playable Voidlings (Kwipeck and Gilick). Try it before buying — the demo gives you a solid feel for combat, evolution, and the core loop.

The demo displays the lizard starter as "Glick" — the official Species Overview video (June 1, 2026) uses Gilick as the corrected name. Both refer to the same Voidling.
